This series is an ode to the seasons that we find ourselves in, the ebb and flow in the daily motions of life- the beautiful and the mundane, the chaotic and the calm- and how they all weave together to make something that is life. From the oft-lonely fullness of parenthood, where you wring all the magic you can out of the daily rhythms. To the quiet hope of waiting for a new journey to start- of Spring’s first bloom and the deep knowing that morning always comes. There is light and dark in it all, and, while neutrals- or the day to day motions- tend to dominate, there is colour and vividness working in the layers. Titled “Seasons of Motion”, it is about this tug and balance- the quiet and the storm, teetering back and forth, reminding us that we are present.
